Hi everyone..just a quick post of another altered wooden tag, using more of the fabulous Calico Craft Parts.
The wooden tag is quite large as you can see the original in my previous post. I painted the tag with Fresco paints from Paper Artsy and adhered a piece of torn napkin using Ranger Glue n Seal.
Texture Paste was applied through a stencil and painted with various colours of Distress Paints, using my fingers. I also applied archival ink to one of Tim's Paris stamps to add further details
Sending you my best wishes. I will be back on Friday with my project for A Vintage Journey as its the start of our monthly challenge...but you still have time to enter the current challenge

Catch up soon, meantime keep inky xxx
Annie this is a stunning anniversary tag! The stenciled floral texture over the butterfly looks amazing and so do the wooden pieces. I think I remember your asking me about the weather in CA around September and October and then my e-mail/Internet went wonky! It can be quite warm or a little chilly, but not as chilly as where you are. Remind me and I will check closer to your visiting time and hopefully we can meet up!!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous tag Annie, love all the details. Pleased to read I am not the only one to use fingers for paint.
