It's a Little Bit French at A Vintage Journey this fortnight

Hi Everyone........We are off to France this fortnight at a Vintage Journey blog. Our lovely Creative Guide, Astrid, is the host of this challenge and her theme is 'A Little Bit French'
To find out more about the Challenge/Rules and to view the inspiring projects of the DT please click HERE

For my project I took a piece of mount board and adhered one of my treasured French Industrial pages. This a real favourite of the many Tim Holtz paper stashes that I have. The sides of the mount board were exposed so I covered them in some other TH papers.
The edges were inked with Walnut Stain and Black Soot DI
Here you can see a close up of the  SIZZIX dies that I used, which are Tim Holtz Weathered Clock, Heart Wings and Carnivale Strip Die for the alphabet letters. I  also used some soft charcoal   around the edges to create some depth.
A Tim Holtz embossing folder is just below the clock and once embossed I tore around the edges then inked with a combination of Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Some of Tim's New Ephemera were distressed using DI's in Vintage Photo, Idea-Ology Pieces and Rub Ons then completed the look.

Have Fun with the challenge and  remember that there is a prize for the winner who is chosen by The DT.
Our regular sponsor is Country View Crafts who stock all of the items above.

Will catch up with you all on Sunday

Best Wishes and have a great weekend xx
