Here is my 'Textured' make:
I took a canvas board and initially I added some Distress Paints as I was not quite sure where I was going with this project. ( Vintage Photo, Pickled Raspberry and Blue China)
I then decided to add some texture using Tim Holtz Bubble stencil and some randomly applied texture paste using my fingers. Once the paste was dry I sprayed Melted Chocolate and London Blue Dylusion's over the painted canvas. Treasure Gold was then applied to the raised areas.I stamped Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous sentiment in Blue Archival ink on to some plain cotton fabric, which was frayed along the edges. Taking some Eclectic Elements fabric I ran it through the big shot using Tim's Movers and Shapers Mini Tattered Florals and Butterfly die. I took a Distress Marker around the edges of the fabric to give more definition.. An Idea-Ology spinner completes the look x
I thought I would try and heat emboss some script on to the floral, however, I was not too successful but decided that I would continue to make the floral anyway. Once complete I really liked the added texture of the embossing powders on the EE fabric. What do you think? The floral was placed on a scrap of hessian and some wire attached :-)
