Hi everyone...well here's hoping that the cold weather is behind us and that we are on our way to warmer times. It was Mothering Sunday here in the UK on Sunday and I have to say I had the most lovely day xx I visited my mammy and then had dinner with my son and his wife xx
Yesterday mammy and I spent a day in Haddington with our uber talented friend, whom many of you know, Astrid of Astrid's Artistic Efforts. We really had a lovely day and managed to visit the Mad Scrapper store, where we could feel and touch lots of crafty goodies and spend some money too....amazing !!! Janine at the Mad Scrapper has the most beautiful papers from 49 Market, Prima Marketing and many more. Click HERE to access the online store.
Today I am sharing an easel card for a neighbour who recently celebrated a Special Birthday
Thank You for taking the time to visit and leaving a comment, which is very much appreciated xx
Happy Crafting and hugs
You made a gorgeous card for your neighbour, bet she loved it. Glad you had a great time with your Mum and Astrid, sounds like fun. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe card is really beautiful Annie, the layers are beautiful and I just love the easel shape.
ReplyDeleteSlightly envious here, first that you and Rita met up with Astrid (I miss you all so much!) and secondly that you got to visit the Mad Scrapper!! I buy all my Maja Design papers from there and never knew that it is a bricks and mortar shop.... so glad you enjoyed yourselves and also that you had such a lovely Mother's Day too. Big hugs, Anne xx
Wow such a beautiful card and what a wonderful way to spend Mothers Day x

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card for your neighbour! It's always good to meet up with fellow crafters, even more so to visit a craft shop with them - I'm sure you must have had fun. I was on a workshop with friends yesterday and we all enjoyed ourselves so much!! Hope you are keeping warm with all this snow - looking out of the window now and it is snowing again! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteSo lovely for you to be able spending a day with Astrid , and then even visiting such wonderful shops , to be tempted buying materials- we can never have too many , can we? lol-
ReplyDeleteAnnie it is such a beautiful vintage card, I love the papers you used, and all the lovely details you added with pearls, glitter, lace and the text - wonderful. Here we have a lovely sunny day, today,- I hope for no more frosty nights Annie. Thank you for your very kind visit- I wish you a lovely week . Dorthe, xoxo
Those layered ovals are so pretty - great choice of papers working together with all the lace and pearl additions. I'm so far behind that it seems silly to comment on your Mother's Day celebrations and time with Astrid - but I'm still glad you had a lovely time!
