She Wishes She Could Fly

Hi Everyone....today I am sharing my AVJ project for Anne's August challenge theme, which is Things With Wings.
Here's what Anne has to say about this month's challenge theme:
"Tim has designed the most wonderful butterfly, dragonfly and bird stamps, dies and papers.  We would like to see you create a project using one (or more if you wish) butterfly, dragonfly or bird."

So here is my project:

I apologise for the lack of a step by step but I can tell you that I used Tim Holtz Lattice Stencil, inked with Cracked Pistachio and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.
One of Tim's Paris Stamps was randomly applied to areas which required a little detail.
I also used Tim Holtz Butterfly Die and Embossing Folder, applying Ranger Perfect Medium and Perfect Pearls.
The large stamp is from Paper Artsy and the tissue napkin from my stash. The word is from Calico Craft Parts. ( I used Ranger Glue N Seal to adhere the napkin to the card, then applied more glue over the top, taking care not to tear the napkin.

So lets see your entries to this fab challenge theme, you may even win a prize from  our sponsor Country View Crafts. 20 GBP is up for grabs and as its randomly chosen everyone has the same chance of winning. We also have 3 Pinworthy Badges with a chance to be a Guest Creative Guide on the AVJ blog.

Have fun and take care xx

  7. Annie, that's a beautiful inspiration piece for this challenge. I love the style of butterflies you used and I never would have noticed had you not changed the color that the lady has wings too. That's really smart the way you direct one's eye to see that. It's a gorgeous creation!
