Hi everyone............Just a quick post to share some of my crafty makes put together at The Papeterie Craft Retreat last weekend.
I was very lucky to have won a day at this crafty event and wow!! do those girls pack in the techniques/projects to make this such a special occasion for everyone.
I met some lovely people from both North and South of the border, many of whom were there for the whole weekend retreat!!!!
I also met up with my lovely blog friend....the uber talented Kath............whom many of you will know from her wonderful daily/crafty adventures and stunning projects on her blog All That Glitters. Kath was demoing at the retreat on days 2 & 3 and I was so sorry I could not participate in them as I had other commitments.
Debbie and Charlotte were the demonstrators on day 1 of The Retreat and I spent my whole day with Debbie.....................you can see what we created below x
I have to say that I have fallen in love with Tim Holtz Stampers Annonymous Crazy Birds. I really wasn't sure about them at first......but they are now my favourite stamps of the moment !! They were certainly flying out the door of The Papeterie !!!
We also made some cards....but I have not yet finished them so that's another post x
If you are ever in Aberdeen/Dyce then a visit to this wonderful store is a must...it's a crafter's dream to be able to view and touch the fantastic range of crafty goodies/mixed media that they have in stock.
Huge thanks to all the staff and to Charlotte and Debbie for the kindness and patience shown. I really did have a great time and will certainly be heading back to Aberdeen soon.
For those of you who are fans of Hels Sheridan, workshops are being held on the 30th/31st of May at The Papeterie and you can find the details below, click Hel's blog link HERE
Sadly that's my weekend of working so I am unable to attend :-(
Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to catching up with you soon.
Huge Hugs
