Springtime @ Artist Trading Post Exchange

Hi Everyone......its time for another challenge at ATP Exchange Challenge Blog and this time it's my turn to host.  'Springtime' is my chosen theme as it's my favourite season.
For this challenge I would like to see the colours of Spring in your Mixed Media projects. You can include flowers/birds if you wish as long as you have a fresh colour palette.
No special requirements other than that you include stamping in your challenge entries. As we are a Mixed Media challenge we do not allow digital images.

As promised here is my third altered bottle, which was altered using Decoart Chalk Paints,  Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps, Tim Holtz Sizzix dies and Idea-ology pieces, chain from my stash.

Below is the front view of the bottle and you can view the preparation details HERE

The bottle was painted using Decoart Chalk Paint in Whisper. I stamped on to tissue paper using Archival Ink in Potting Soil on Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps, adhering the stamped tissue paper with Glue N Seal. I then applied Rusty Hinge and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks as well as some highlights of Treasure Gold ( Renaissance)
Tim Holtz Sizzix Trellis dies was cut twice using my Bigshot and then inked with Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo DI, the inside and edges of the frame were iced with Gathered Twigs Distress marker, adding depth to the edges of the trellis. The butterflies are a new  CHA release of Tim Holtz
The ivy is also from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Strip Die

The gorgeous butterflies die cut using  Ranger watercolour paper and then embossed with the folder that accompanies the die.  Distress Inks in Salty Ocean, Spiced Marmalade and Shabby Shutters were applied and then spritzed with water. Once dry the edges of the butterflies were inked with Walnut Stain DI.  The ivy leaves were inked die cut in Ranger kraft card and then inked with Mowed Lawn DI
The chain was purchased from a local hardware shop, beginning with B and ending with Q !!!!

The Eiffel Tower and Artists Palette were a gift from my lovely blog friend Lynne Moncrieff of Adorn x  The Fleur De Lys is an Idea-ology charm and the key and time piece were in my stash.
I used Idea-ology jump rings to attach the chain and charms.
Idea-ology Game Spinners were applied to the butterflies using Glossy Accents
I am so thrilled with the way this bottle  turned out and hope you can manage to give it a try.
It looks like it has been hand painted and is so much nicer than the photographs.

My DT sister have created some fabulous creations for you to peruse HERE. Should you wish to purchase any of the products I have used you will find that I have highlighted them within my post, which will take you straight to the Artist Trading Post Online Store

I do hope you can join in with us and there is a chance to win a £10 voucher, which you can spend at the Artist Trading Post Online Store, particularly as Jamie has many of the new CHA releases in stock.

Take care and Huge Hugs
