Hi Everyone........................Hope you are enjoying the weekend :-)
Its not so nice here with rather mixed weather and of course its getting pretty dark around 4pm.
Below is a Journal I have made for a colleague's son, who will be 21 on Tuesday.
It's almost 8 by 8 so a reasonable size.
You will see that I have used various Distress Inks, TH Sizzix dies, TH Rub On's and many of Tim's new stencil's, which I adore.
I took the photographs in a different room so the colour is varied, particularly the main finished image, which is deeply rich like most of the photographs below.
When he was little his mum always said she would buy him a car for his 21st Birthday, so I created a flap as she wanted the CAR picture to be included. I used the Tissue tape to create the hinge for the flap. It's so cool and was a tip from Tim at his Birmingham Workshop.
Flip it up
I tried to create a plaid using Tim's striped stencil and i think it looks the part
Close friends..............
The cool thing about the clock is that it can be moved to commemorate his date of birth or even time of birth........whatever his mum decides.
THank You for taking the time to visit and I hope to catch up with you all soon.
Have fun xx
Fabulous Journal. I'm sure that Ben will treasure it too. A lovely way to remember 21 years. Hugs Mum xxxxx
