Hi Everyone and a very happy WOYWW x I am afraid my crafty space is a bit of a jungle and I really must take some time to get organised as I can only work in a mess for so long then I need to tidy up.
Today I am sharing a crafty make for a neighbour who had a Special birthday recently.
All of the stamps used were from PaperArtsy (HP 1004EZ), which I love.
You can see below that I picked up some beer mats whilst on my travels, painting it in some PA Fresco Finish Ice Blue
I also painted the Kraft card in TH Distress Paint, Walnut Stain, and again incorporated the iced blue for that worn effect.
The same stamp set was used on the kraft card below, inking the stamp in Coffee Archival Ink.
Where possible I like to muck around with layouts before adhering. You can see here some hessian ribbon and metal embellishments, wire and rusty heart from the Funkie Junkie Boutique.
The centre sentiment is from TH Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings CMS 155
Hope you are all having a wonderful crafty day and I wish you a Happy WOYWW. If you would like to join in with WOYWW you can visit Julia's blog over at Stamping Ground :-) You can find the details by clicking HERE.
Over at Simon Says Stamp and Show the challenge this week is to use Kraft and at Our Creative Corner the challenge is to use items from their RECIPE. I am entering both of these challenges with this project.

ReplyDeleteHi Annie
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous card!
I am smiling as earlier on I could be seen adding paint to corrugated cardboard that I had manage to rust earlier in the week (yes, I am back amongst my supplies - at a slow rate but back dabbling .... finally!)
The painted beer mat creates a lovely focal.
