Hi Everyone.....Hope you are all having a lovely weekend, whatever you are doing x.... Thought I would share the canvas below which was a Keepsake for my niece who had a special birthday. This piece also meets the challenge requirements over at :
The metal heart, filigree corners and lace wings were purchased from The Funkie Junkie Boutique, where I am entering the Sunday Share as one of Linda's customers.
Off to enjoy The Masters.............I don't play golf but do enjoy watching it. As a family we always made it an occasion when its The Master's weekend. No 1 son likes to continue traditions and will be joining us, which is always great. Lots of good food and wonderful company/action.
Catch up soon x

A fabulous canvas, great use of all these elements.
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, gorgeous textural canvas. I love the rusty heart with the wings and the ornate corners are gorgeous. The corrugated card works beautifully and adds so much texture. Thanks do much for joining in the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteHI Annie
ReplyDeleteA very special keepsake indeed.
The rusty heart is a glorious focal and wings always have such significance but possibly moreso when someone young is celebrating a special birthday.
With a Dad who golfs, a sister who golfed from a young age and a B.I.L. who was a Golf Pro (club) needless to say I did try it, I was very young and as I've never had a sporty bone in my body it was something I never felt the urge to try again. Enjoy your weekend continuing your family's tradition :)
Wishes
Lynne
What a lovely make, Annie - I love the rusty heart and corrugated card (of course!), and the subtle inking of the canvas is so effective! I'm cross with the golf because it means there's no QI - harrumph!!

Annie..this canvas is amazingly gorgeous. I love the distressed corrugated background. It's so textural and lends such a warm feeling to the rest of your piece. The lace wings emerging from behind the clock face look awesome as well! I love the mix of the metal with the dainty lace. The filigree corners also are a nice touch! Love it! Thanks for sharing your lovely art with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
