Hi everyone....hope you are all well and ready for April tomorrow !!!! I don't even remember where March has gone!!!. In the UK it was Mother's Day last Sunday and of course I had to make a card for my Mammy, whom many of you know as Rita ( RMG Creations Blog)
To start with I used papers from the Papermania Collection madame Payraud, distressing the edges with my TH Distress Tool. I dyed some muslin and kept the left over threads when I frayed the edges.
I die cut Tim's Framelit Wildflowers, inking them with various Distress Inks and Oxide Inks using finger daubers. The flowers were tied with string and a Mother of Pearl heart button attached.
The wooden frame was in my stash and I can't remember who made it....sorry about that.
The butterflies were punched using Tim Holtz Punch and inked with Vintage Photo DI, an Idea-Ology spinner attached. The photo was from Tim Holtz Photo Booth collection.
I really enjoyed making this card and even more delighted that my mammy loved it. 😄
Thank You so much for dropping in and I hope to see you at the start of next week. Just wanted to mention that there is still time to join in with our All Aboard Birthday Challenge over at A Vintage Journey HERE as well as a chance to win a wee prize if you enter a Tag, linking it to today's post HERE.....do check out the details.
See You Monday
Have a lovely weekend whatever you are getting up to.
