Birthday Card for a Dear Friend

Hi everyone....hope you are well and enjoying the summer weather/time spent outdoors.

It has been a wee while since I posted as I was away in Venice.........a trip thats been on my bucket list for years.............then of course there's work and other commitments. I have been crafting and still visiting blogland but had no time to post.

Anyway I can now share a card made for a crafty friends birthday. Lynne absolutely loves Stampsmith Stamps so I used the lovely Ophelia, which is also one of my favourites.

Lots of layers,  using Madame Peraud papers by Papermania, with some of them torn and pieces of muslin adhered within the tears. The frame  around Ophelia was a gift from my lovely friend Astrid  and is a Sue Wilson Die, which I have since purchased as it's so beautiful.  Old lace, a metal butterfly and some pearls were also added to complete the vintage/shabby style, which is one of my favourites.

Thank you for dropping in today...............visits are really appreciated  and its always nice to return the compliment x A busy week ahead but I am hoping to join in with Tim Holtz Summer of Creative Chemistry over the weekend x

Take Care and Huge Hugs

  13. This is just lovely, Annie - Ophelia looks right at home in the centre of all that vintage ephemera on the Peyraud papers, and the frame is just perfect. So lovely to see some of what you're up to, and I hope you're enjoying yourself lots too!
