Celebrations at A Vintage Journey

Welcome to the First Anniversary at A Vintage Journey challenge blog and boy have we got some wonderful surprises, which you can find details of HERE.

The challenge is now a monthly challenge and the randomly chosen winner will receive a £20 gift voucher from our very generous sponsor, Country View Crafts. We will continue to have our Pinworthy blog badges for the Top 3, who will be chosen by the Creative Guides ( DT)
Instead of Destination Inspiration posts the Creative Guides will be sharing weekly step by step posts, focusing on specific products and techniques within their inspirational projects.

So lets see your amazing entries....you certainly won't be disappointed !!  We do have some challenge rules and various requests may be made in relation to specific challenges....so please read the posts and pesky rules to be in with a chance of winning.

This month our challenge is "Anything Tim" and there are certainly many great products/techniques for you to incorporate in your projects.

Here is my take on this fabulous anniversary challenge

A little Pillow Box, which is embossed in Kraft Core card stock then decorated with Tim Holtz Sizzix Dies, Ephemera, Chit Chat Stickers and a little Idea-Ology Spinner.

I used the WRMK Pillow Box Punch Board to make my little box and then ran it through my Bigshot, using a Tim Holtz embossing folder. After sanding I applied Vintage Photo and Crushed Pistachio to the raised area. I then took Walnut Stain DI, applying it around the edges to create depth

The rosette is a die cut, again by Tim Holtz. The ribbon trim is from my stash and was purchased at The Range. The ephemera pieces are also by Tim Holtz and they too were inked with distress inks and adhered with Cosmic Glue. A little Idea-Ology spinner was adhered to the butterfly to compete the look.

Thank You for visiting and I hope you will find time to enter our  monthly"Anything Tim" challenge.....it would be great to have you join us on board.
Should Mr Mojo be misbehaving you can view some fabulous inspiration created by the Creative Guides HERE

Huge Hugs and Best Wishes
