Another fabulous day here in Scotland, hope it continues, as you feel so much better when the sun shines. Hope you all had a fabulous St Patrick's Day :) We had a lovely evening, nice meal, nice wine and some good music. We watched The Last Waltz dvd, the documentary about The Band and various other 60's singers/songwriters, absolutely brilliant!
Anyway, my mammy loved her Mother's Day creation, which is posted below. I really enjoyed my crafting afternoon, very relaxing.............although the mess.......... well its the worst I have ever seen my craft room !!
I used TH Lost and Found paperstash and some cream card, which I ran through my Bigshot, using the artful dwellings Bigz Die. I cut out the dwellings twice as this enabled me to hide the wire. The letters are die cut using TH Alterations/Carnivale, again I cut out two of each letter to hide wire. I then stamped using TH Stampers Anonymous 'Winged Things', which are fabulous. They were distressed with vintage paper, barn door and faded jeans. I also used Distress markers to colour the Hat and hair, then copix markers for skin tone. Some butterfly's and a lucky coin were added using glossy accents. I wrapped the wire around a pencil then pulled it off, maintaining the spiral. Hope you like the finished creation............I certainly had much fun creating it.
Happy Crafting and thank you for visiting. Annie :)
Thank-You so much Anne for the absolutely stunning card. You know now how much I love it and will treasure it always. Enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs Rita xxxxx
ReplyDeleteWow, Annie, what a superb creation, it truly is a piece of art! Wonderful. I am not surprised your Mum loved it. We drove 100 miles to Coventry today and it was snowing there! Horrible. All for a model railway exhibition (well I did get to go to Harrogate yesterday)....Regards, Anne x
ReplyDeleteAnnie, this card is fabulous! I love everything about it!!! Great design! Love the stamped sentiments and how you've placed them on the Artful Dwellings! The little girl in the center...way cool! I also love how you've added the "MUM" using the coiled wire. Really really neat! <3 Candy
