Teenage Years

Well here we are again with another post...............hope you are all well and had a wonderful weekend.
Its still fairly mild here on the West Coast of Scotland, but still raining  :- (

Below is a card that I made for my nephew's 13th Birthday. He was due on 1st January 2000, when you will remember everything was to go in to Millennium  meltdown !!!  Of course that did not happen, however, my sister decided to have Hamish induced and he was born on the 30th December 1999 instead. He is such a lovely, charming boy and it was great to have him join us for a wee family night on the 29th December. A lovely memory for him to treasure as we made his  13th birthday quite special.

The background was inked with several DI's, then stamped with large sentiment stamps in Archival Ink.
( in either coffee or sepia )

The die cut clock also reminds me of the big wheel  towering above the houses!!! The clock  hands were set at 12 : 30 to commemorate his birthday x

Letters and numbers were diecut using TH Word Typepad which is so useful in many ways.

Off now to make a commissioned card so will catch up with you all later.

Take Care and have lots of  inky fun

    HI Annie
A fabulous card. You hit the right tone for a teenage birthday card, not the easiest of cards to make but of course, no trouble for you.
I am sure he had a wonderful birthday.
