March submission for Tag of the Month- TH

Hi Everyone :).  Thank You so much for looking at my blog and for your kind comments. I could not wait to get back from work today to upload  my tag. This is my first ever challenge as a blogger. As mentioned, I love the style and products of Ranger and Tim Holtz.   I did not have the stamp that Tim used so using the Sizzix Bigz die I cut out my tag using TH idea-ology kraft resist  paper, which I distressed using tumbled glass, aged mahogany and barn door. I then cut out the  TH alterations, movers & shapers journey die, which I also distressed in similar colours, raising it slightly off the tag to create depth. I also cut out the word Treasures, placing it off the edge slightly, which is a style I have grown to like.  I cut out the movers and shapers butterfly's and required to improvise from here on in. I cut up small pieces of papers from Lost and Found, using glue to stick them on, which was fiddly, wish I had some of Tim's sheets. (  must add them to  my wish list ) As I ran out of Ranger glossy accents I used  Ranger crackle glaze, which I really liked. I then used an embossing pen on the grunge paper around my mosaic, adding weathered wood distress powders,
( some of which stuck to my mosaic pieces....... oh no !!) however, most of the powder brushed off  the mosaic pieces and the small bits that were left looked quite nice once embossed. ( kinda rustic)  As you can see I added a few embellishments and presto  here it is.

Happy Crafting :)
